Margaret Walsh is a partner in Sheil Solicitors, Dublin. She is a member of the Law Society’s Probate and Taxation Committee and the sub-committee of the Guidance and Ethics Committee addressing the financial abuse of the elderly. She is the Editor of Irish Conveyancing Precedents.
She is a member and former Chair of the Law Society’s Committee on Probate Administration and Trusts and a member of the Law Society’s Mental Health and Capacity Task Force.
She is a committee member and former Chair of Solicitors for the Elderly Ireland and a member of the Society and Trust and Estate Practitioners. Margaret lectures regularly to the Law Society’s Law School on the Law Society’s PPCI programme and on the STEP Diploma Course.
Margaret is the Editor and a Co-Author of Irish Conveyancing Precedents.
In practice Margaret represents both private clients and institutions in the areas of Conveyancing, Wills, Trusts, Estate Planning, Probate & Administration of Estates and in the law relating to older and vulnerable persons to include Wardship, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Elder Abuse.
