Denise Healy is a senior associate at Kearney, Roche & McGuinn Solicitors which has offices both in Kilkenny and in Tullow, County Carlow.
Denise was previously employed for 6 years in Matheson where she practised as a solicitor in the Commercial Property department.
Denise has, for the last 12 years, acted for many of Ireland’s leading developers, financial institutions and insolvency practitioners. Denise practices all aspects of commercial and residential property law and specialises in the areas of planning, easements, profits à prendre, financing for property developments, landlord and tenant matters, title rectification and farm succession.
Denise is currently completing a Professional Doctorate in Law with Northumbria University in Newcastle, which accreditation is offered in partnership with The Law Society of Ireland. Her Thesis will focus on proposals for reform of Prescription and is provisionally entitled “Time to remove the Blinkers! A critical analysis of the changes to Prescription introduced by the Land and Conveyancing Law Reform Act, 2009”.
Denise is a member of the Easements Task Force of the Law Society Conveyancing Committee.
