Claire Loftus, Director of Public Prosecutions, Ireland
Claire Loftus has been Director of Public Prosecutions in Ireland since 2011. She qualified as a solicitor in 1992 and has been a prosecutor since 1993. She has held senior management positions in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) since 2001.
Claire Loftus holds a BA (1987), an MSc degree in Public Sector Management from Trinity College Dublin (2002), and a Higher Diploma in European Law from University College Dublin (1996).
