Caroline qualified as a Solicitor in 1989. She specialised in commercial litigation working with the Dublin based firm, Ivor Fitzpatrick & Company Solicitors and in 1995 founded La Touche Training.
The company is now recognised as the leading legal and witness training company in Ireland providing bespoke training and education for regulators, professional bodies, the healthcare sector, private companies and individuals.
Caroline has over 24 years’ experience in the management, design and delivery of effective learning and development projects for staff in both the public and private sector. She regularly presents at conferences covering matters relating to professional regulation, effective investigation, complaints management and expert evidence. Caroline contributed to the Law Reform Commission Consultation paper on Expert Evidence. Over the last 8 years she has been involved extensively in the management, design and delivery of major training projects to bodies involved in professional regulation. Her training covers areas including effective regulation, good governance, chairing skills and handling bias.
