Hybrid is a popular word. As we slowly come out of the pandemic it is completely redefining the workplace and how it will function in the future. The Office of the Future is Hybrid. And many flagship companies have already made the switch.[i]
Working From Home (WFH) and Working From Anywhere (WHA) are to stay with us for good, at least partially. And this applies to Learning and Development, Continuous Professional Development and Training.
Many of our clients plan to carry on with digital and online events until the end of the year. Depending on health & safety and governments regulations and restrictions, face to face training has now resumed on a case by case basis and will likely increase even more next year.
Let’s face it: both options have advantages. And the good news is: you can have both.
Online learning is accessible to all and isn’t going anywhere. If you have a laptop, a reliable internet connection and a quiet location you’re ready to go. Gone are the days when you had to plan your trip to a specific location to attend a training course. Online learning is easy and comfortable. It also allows for interaction, albeit virtual, via group discussions and break out rooms get together and exercises.
Face – to – face learning on the other hand will always have its place. Sometimes, clients prefer in person training for various reasons. All our trainings programmes are available online and face-to-face. Many of our clients have been pleasantly surprised at how well the course was delivered and received in a digital format. However, when they chose the face-to-face version, that’s fine too and we are happy to plan it with them. Meeting in person is an opportunity for delegates to give their undivided attention to a learning session and at the same time meet with peers, network or simply have a good “chinwag”.
In the case of multi day courses, the hybrid option is also proving very successful: 1 day of face-to-face/role play training coupled with 2 half days of virtual training for example. This can be organised for many of our courses as requested and gives our clients the best of both worlds.
La Touche Training’s mission is simple: to provide excellent legal training to all our delegates, regardless of location. We will continue to offer online training at all times and face-to-face training when safe to do so. We have embraced the hybrid model and will continue to focus on what works best for our clients to meet their legal training requirements.
What our clients say about us:
“Very professional delivery. Concise, understandable materials.”
“Great course, very informative. The materials were on point and highly relevant.”
“The facilitator was very knowledgeable and the pace was just right.”
“Reassuring having a legal practitioner deliver the course, given the seriousness of the subject matter.”
“Very clearly presented and easy to understand for those of us with very little legal training/knowledge.”
